EDUCATION

AYDA Awards – Shaping Future Design Leaders: The Asia Young Designer Awards (AYDA), an initiative by Nippon Paint, is a globally recognized platform dedicated to nurturing the next generation of Architecture and Interior Design professionals. Since its inception in 2008, AYDA has empowered thousands of students across multiple countries by providing a stage to showcase innovative ideas, engage with industry experts, and compete at both national and international levels.

Unlocking Career Growth Opportunities: Participants gain expert mentorship, build strong portfolios, and connect with industry professionals worldwide, while earning recognition at national and international levels—opening doors to global career opportunities.

The Prestigious Harvard Opportunity: One of the most inspiring aspects of AYDA is the opportunity for international winners to attend the Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD) – Design Discovery Program, a fully sponsored experience worth up to USD 10,000, offering global exposure, hands-on learning, and advanced design thinking at one of the world’s leading institutions.

This life-changing opportunity provides world-class education, a global perspective, and unmatched career advancement, making AYDA not just a competition, but a gateway to international success.

EMPOWERMENT

Nippon Nisa is a flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by Nippon Paint Pakistan, dedicated to empowering women by equipping them with professional painting skills and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities. The program is implemented in collaboration with The Hunar Foundation, which provides mobilization and training facilities, and SheMatters, which supports participant placement and network building.

A Since its launch, Nippon Nisa has successfully completed three training batches, empowering more than 50 women with professionally aligned painting skills. New batches are also being conducted simultaneously to expand the program’s reach and impact.Following their certification, graduates are connected with employment opportunities through Nippon Paint Pakistan and its partner network. Today, trained Nippon Nisa painters are actively working on multiple residential and commercial projects across Pakistan and have successfully completed numerous home painting assignments, enabling them to earn a stable income and build independent careers.

Beyond employment, Nippon Nisa aims to create a long-term ecosystem of women professionals in the painting industry. As graduates gain experience, they are encouraged to become mentors, trainers, and ambassadors who inspire and support more women to join the profession, creating a lasting cycle of empowerment.

Through Nippon Nisa, Nippon Paint Pakistan continues its commitment to breaking barriers, promoting gender inclusion, and creating meaningful economic opportunities for women, helping them build brighter, more secure futures.
